Salam Mustapha, the National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has reacted to the concerns raised by the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstrators and other aggrieved Ghanaians.
According to Salam Mustapha, the current economic difficulties in the country are not the government but the global crises.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Mustapha acknowledged the frustrations and hardships Ghanaians are facing.
He stressed that Ghana is not the only country facing economic challenges as similar issues are affecting nations around the world.
"It is not deliberate that we are facing serious economic challenges," Mustapha stated.
He calls on the youth to maintain confidence in President Nana Addo and his government, asserting that these economic challenges are temporary.
"I have absolute confidence and trust in how our leaders are working for us to recover," Mustapha told host of the morning show, Kwami Sefa Kayi.
