SEP 19, 2023 LISTEN

Gomoa Central Women's Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mrs Dinah Efua Aubyn has called on party faithfuls to work hand in hand with each other to win the 2024 general elections.

"Indicators are high and it is possible that the NPP will win the 2024 General Elections hands down, but it will depend on how we as a party bring all hands on deck with a unity of purpose coupled with hard work.

"His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo led NPP Government has performed creditably so we have a good message for Ghanaians if we package the party well through effective communication," she stated.

Mrs. Dinah Efua Aubyn said these during the inauguration of the Gomoa Central Constituency NPP Women's Wing at Gomoa Mangoase last Friday.

She stressed, "The purpose of today's inauguration is to rekindle the communal spirit of our Polling Station Women's Organizers of the NPP to work assiduously towards the task ahead of the party, that is to win the 2024 General Elections convincingly. It is also to revamp our programmes and activities as Women's organizers in the Gomoa Central Constituency.

"As women's organizers in our various polling stations, it is our duty to be in constant touch with the people at the grassroot and to propagate excellent achievement of the NPP government since 2017.

"There is no doubt that all the government's pro-poor policies and interventions are benefiting women and children in particular because we are the vulnerable in society. There is the need for us as women to work tediously to retain NPP Government in power for more of such policies and interventions for the ordinary people on the street to get their fair share of the National cake. To achieve this, we must come together in unison with each other to make political history since independence."

The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Hon. Naana Eyiah and the Central Regional Women's Organizer of the NPP, Madam Charlotte Adwoa Antwi both congratulated the Polling Station Women's Organizers for their commitment towards the course of the party and encouraged them to continue to work hard for the party's quest to win the 2024 general elections.

Present were the DCE for Gomoa Central, Hon. Benjamin Kojo Otoo, Constituency Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Philemon Darko and some constituency executives.
