Stanislav Dogbe, Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama has opined on Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s presidential bid.

Mr. Dogbe expressed shock that despite the economic hardship co-headed by Dr. Bawumia, all he could think about is to become President after his boss.

The NDC stalwart posted a picture of a ‘hopeless’ lady in a tweet on Monday, September 18, which he termed as the true state of Ghana.

“This photo, right here, is a reflection of the true state of many of us in Ghana today.

"And to think that the deputy leader of the country, who is responsible, directly, for the destroyed state or everything, and completely clueless and incompetent at how to solve it, wants to run for President!!!

"God help us,” he wrote.

The Vice President is among the four stalwarts including Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and Francis Addai Nimoh, competing for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) flagbearer position on November 4, ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The opposition National Democratic Congress has already filed former President John Dramani Mahama who promises to restore hope in the economy when re-elected on December 7, 2024.
