Presidents do have physical examinations and frequent psychiatric assessments, but I'm not sure when the last time Nana Akufo Addo, the president of Ghana, had his physical and mental examinations. Could Akufo Addo be one of the millions of people on the earth who suffer from mental illness but are unaware that they do have mental issues? The president's comments that may trigger a civil war, political unrest, or bloodshed in Ghana, yet appears unconcerned about it indicate that he is suffering from a mental condition.
Everyone is aware that Akufo Addo has been incredibly incompetent and lazy, in addition to being exceedingly corrupt. Even worse, after demolishing a hospital serving the communities of La-Teshie-Nungua, with the promise to build an ultra-modern one, he failed to build the hospital. First of all, who in their right mind would destroy a hospital when the money to construct one isn't ready? The president's behavior in this instance fits a person with a psychiatric disorder. Many of Akufo Addo's actions and remarks show his unstable mental health, yet Ghanaians choose to ignore them.
Three statements made by Akufo Addo indicate that he suffers from severe psychological problems: (1) "He claims has fought corruption than any Ghanaian leader," (2) "He has outperformed Kwame Nkrumah," and (3) "Election 2024: Either power changes hands or the eight is broken."
What will people think of a president who has been dubbed the worst president in Ghanaian political history, yet; despite the harm he has caused to the nation and the people he has driven into poverty, the president claims that "Election 2024: Either power changes hands or the eight is broken." Akufo Addo is a man who is interested in using violence to further his goals, and everyone who hears him speak would agree that his mental state is unstable. That’s why he can’t acknowledge the failure and ruin he has caused to the country and the people.
Ghanaians should pay attention to what Akufo Addo says to comprehend that he suffers from a mental illness, such as when he claims that he has been a better leader than Kwame Nkrumah and has fought corruption more effectively than any other Ghanaian leader, while everyone knows there is no ample truth in what he is saying. More significantly, the former Minister of Sanitation was caught by her housemaids for stealing millions of dollars and hiding them at her home. This raises the question of how many corrupt NPP politicians are still working in his cabinet.
Akufo Addo most likely suffered from depression and sleep deprivation when he repeatedly failed to win the presidency, which had an impact on his memory. Who can say, "Give me the authority to serve you, but if I fail, you can sack me?" The corruption under Akufo Addo has now reached a worldwide scale and more importantly has failed and been rejected by the people but he wouldn’t like to step down, instead, he wants to rig the election for another incompetent one called Bawumia.
The most significant problem is his rejection by the majority of Ghanaians, who believe that the president has betrayed or lied to them. With impunity, he has destroyed the nation's infrastructure, brought the economy to a standstill, and raised corruption by over 300%. At the moment, all businesses across Ghana have collapsed, and activities at the ports have fallen to the lowest standard ever recorded in Ghana. If after all of this, Akufo Addo comes out and says "Election 2024: Either power changes hands or the eight is broken," anyone should be able to tell that this man has a mental issue.
Akufo Addo had said, "I will do everything in my power to ensure that the NPP retains power," before Bryan Acheampong's treasonous statement. When power genuinely belongs to the people, why does Akufo Addo keep insisting that the NPP, not the voters, will break the eighth cycle? The justification is rather simple: He knows that the majority of Ghanaians won't back the NPP or Bawumia, therefore he plans to rig the elections and if violence erupts, leading to casualties, he will mobilize supporters, especially tribal bigots, to blame John Mahama.
If Akufo Addo truly cared about violence and casualties, he would stop saying things that can trigger violence. The president and his party have done for the nation that qualifies them to break the eighth cycle. Let the president explain to Ghanaians how he came by such a huge debt without accountability. With all the suffering and high rate of unemployment he has created, Akufo Addo wants to push his way through another rigging in 2024 but I must warn him to be careful of what he wishes for.
I must inform the president that the majority of Ghanaians dislike him and Bawumia because of the manner they have disrespected them and destroyed their businesses. When water is set on fire, Akufo Addo reaches a particular temperature before it begins to boil. What I can foresee is that if the elections are rigged in 2024, Ghana will either have a coup or a rise in violence that would force Akufo Addo and other politicians into hiding or out of the country.
I've already discovered that the president enjoys bloodshed and violence. He is a man who doesn't mind killing even a million people to accomplish his objectives. Even though I am not a prophet, if his doctor doesn’t assist him and he continues to rig the 2024 election to cause violence and casualties, there will either be a coup or Akufo Addo will face trial at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, according to an article I published on August 13, 2022.
