The Labadi Beach Hotel, has presented five million cedis worth of paints and painting accessories to the La Police Station as its contribution towards the station’s refurbishment.
The gesture was in response to an appeal by the station for support in beautifying its main buildings and immediate surroundings.
The items included 20 gallons of paint, six gallons of turpentine, six gallons of tintas and two gallons of acrylic.
ASP Adane Ameyaw expressed appreciation to the management of Labadi Beach Hotel and said he was particularly impressed by the hotel’s ‘swift response’ to the request for support to beautify the La Police Station in the wake of the fiftieth anniversary celebrations.
