Ernest Chemist Expands Operations

Ernest Chemist, one of the leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical products, has introduced a new concept which will provide total health care to the general public.

Under the concept, a subsidiary, to be known as Er-Mart Limited , will serve as a Consumer Division of the company to provide home and personal care products.

Speaking to the Daily Graphic at the 11th Ghana International Trade Fair in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr Ernest Bediako Sampong, said “the idea to launch the Er-Mart Ltd. is to provide for the total health care of the ordinary Ghanaian”.

Mr Sampong said the product was available in the company's outlets throughout the country at very competitive prices.

He explained that the introduction of the Er-Mart concept was to provide customers of the company with a one-stop shop that addressed their total health needs.

The General Manager for Operations of the company, Mr Yaw Bediako Sampong, said the products, which were mainly imported, were of the utmost quality and that the Er-Mart was in conformity with the company's vision of providing quality healhtcare products to Ghanaians.

Mr Sampong said the company was using the Trade Fair as a platform to introduce the new concept to the general public.

He said the new concept would complement the company's pharmaceutical products in delivering quality service and assured customers of quality products.

Ernest Chemist represents some of the world's leading brands in pharmaceutical products in the country, such as GlaxoSmithkline, AstraZeneca and Pfizer.
