Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel Abu Jinapor has touted his party, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) ability to restore the ailing economy.

Among all the political machinery in the country, the Damongo legislator noted that his outfit is the only party capable of transforming the fortunes of the country.

Speaking at an event, the Minister acknowledged the current economic crisis in the country, citing higher inflation and other negative indicators.

He is calling on Ghanaians to support and give them a third consecutive electoral victory in 2024.

“The NPP is the only political machinery in Ghana that has the capacity to transform the fortunes of the country to the level Ghanaians desire. The NPP government has performed creditably well in the face of the global crisis and will return the economy to solid ground,” he noted.

As the country gears up for another election, which many tip to be the most competitive one, the ruling party has launched a campaign of breaking the 8-year jinx of governance in the country.

However, the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has also vowed to wrestle the presidential seat from the NPP, citing economic mismanagement and alleged corruption.
