A NATIONAL Democratic Congress (NDC) activist, Mr. Joseph Kenneth Yawson of Esaaman Junction in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) District, has predicted a massive win for Professor John Evans Atta Mills in the 2008 general elections.

Speaking to The Chronicle in Cape Coast on Thursday, Mr. Yawson said indications on the ground are that many NDC members who were lured to vote for NPP in the Central Region and especially in his zonal area have resolved to vote for Prof. Mills.

“Some of us who were deceived by some NPP gurus have decided to campaign vigorously to counter the lies and vague promises that enabled us vote for the NPP,” he said.

He said already, the zonal meetings with NDC regional executives were yielding positive results as many people keep on attending meetings and mini rallies.

According to him, the NDC will win the KEEA seat back in 2008 from the grasp of Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, who capitalised on NPP affiliation to capture the seat.

He said Prof. Mills' two-time loss in his bid for the presidency, has caused a stir in the Region and that many NDC activists are this time round putting themselves together to match the ruling NPP boot for boot in the 2008 elections.
