Christians have been urged to declare the glory of God through understanding and meditating on His word.

Speaking at the Crystal Grace Chapel International at Sarpeiman in Accra on Sunday, June 25, Associate Overseer of the church, Reverend Patrick Biney, said God has revealed His glory to mankind through His creation and His word.

“God made all the mind-blowing things around so man can see his glory. But understanding his words is key to declaring His glory,” Rev. Biney said.

He referenced Psalms 119:11, which says “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”

Rev. Biney explained that the word of God dwells in Christians and “what you have in you is what can make you declare the glory of God.”

He added: “It is not enough to be reciting quotations from the Bible, but making it sinks down and becoming part of your being.”

Meditating on God’s word is key to declaring His glory, the pastor said.

“When you cannot meditate it, you can not bring it out. Without the word, you can not even be checked based on your righteousness,” he buttressed his point.

Rev. Biney referenced Psalm 19:13, which says “ Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; Let them not have dominion over me. Then I shall be blameless, And I shall be innocent of great transgression.”

He explained "The word can keep you back from presumptuous sins (sins committed in the mind). The word of God can make you innocent of great transgressions.”

Bringing the sermon to an end, Rev. Biney said: "Your pay back will depend on how you paint to the world, how the glory of God really is. The Glory is able to overcome every temptation and it is the perfect nature of God manifested by man. When He is being depicted well, the world will be able to recognize His deliverance might."
