Aspiring Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan Kyerematen has disclosed that he will adopt the philosophy of late US President Abraham Lincoln when he becomes President of Ghana.
In a post on social media on Thursday, June 8, the former Minister of Trade and Industry said he will run a government by the people, for the people, and of the people.
Early this year, Alan Kyerematen tendered his resignation letter to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as Minister of Trade and Industry.
The move was to allow him to focus on his ambition to become the next flagbearer of the NPP.
On May 31, some market queens from Accra and Kumasi joined heads to pick nomination forms for Alan Kyerematen to contest in the NPPs flagbearer race.
He gladly accepted the forms, adding that their resolute support and belief in his vision for Ghana is truly inspiring.
Just like all other aspirants of the NPP, he is working to convince delegates to vote for him during the presidential primaries of the party on November 4.
