Peace is possible, peace is not possible, peace is possible...

Being in love we take to flowers and petals for petals and dismantle the flower head while wanting to find out whether our love will be answered.

With the NATO double treaty signed by Valery Giscard de'Estainge, French President, and Helmut Schmidt, German Chancellor, the idea to increase the nuclear arsenal to the level of the UdSSR and after that reduce it all together was an interesting concept that did eventually not work out.

History is constantly on the move. Regardless of how strong and powerful nations once were no country and no political system in history is the same since man inhabited the earth. Constantly did borders shift so political dominion. The Empire fell down to be the underdog while the underdog rose through the ranks to glory before time moved on for others to take dominion. Only because we live in the 21st century the rules and regulations of history have and will not change, nothing will stay the same.

The questions to answer are 1.) How will the world look on the political stage in 100,200 or 300 years to come? 2.) Who will take over the seat of dominion? 3.) What will the process be like? 4.) Who will understand today first to start a close friendship with the hero of tomorrow for others to line up behind?

Question 3.) is of crucial significance to mankind. Borders and political systems have never shifted by peaceful marches to polling stations. To take something away from others as the stepping stone to climb up the history ladder was never peaceful only without bloodshed on the economic side with a breakthrough to reach greater political relevance but not while shifting borders or fundamental political system changes.

The rules and regulations of history come with generations enjoying peace on Earth or only regional less significant wars. Wars that on a large scale transform the face of the earth on the other hand have been part of mankind. The reasons behind these fundamental wars to achieve a changed world and proof history right vary from historic moment to historic moment. But they exist and will exist as otherwise, history would be a liar.

Unlike previous historic moments, man has developed a devastating arsenal of self-destruction the ability to wipe out the human race completely. It might be that unconsciously countries look out for the planets around us as an escape route a fire exit.

In any case as humans, as we are war shapes history and makes history possible as it was and is, and will be. Peace is one petal of the flower of life only.
