The National Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, known affectionately as Nana B has reiterated the party's determination to win a third consecutive term in the 2024 elections.

In a lengthy Facebook post following the NPP's recent victory in the Kumawu constituency by-election, Nana B laid out what he says are facts that expose the opposition NDC's "vile propaganda."

Among the key points made by Nana B are that the NPP widened its margin of victory over the NDC compared to the 2020 election results.

He said the NPP won several polling stations for the first time and increased its share of the valid votes cast to over 70%.

Nana B wrote "The NPP remains poised to Break the 8 and continue to serve the good people of Ghana."

He told activists and party members "ignore the NDC's vile propaganda; they failed woefully in Kumawu, the fact and figures have exposed them."

"The facts from the Kumawu by-election are clear. The NPP has made significant gains in support while the NDC continues to decline. This indicates that Ghanaians approve of our work and we are on course to win a third term in office,” he added.

He attributed the Kumawu victory to the "good policies and programs" of the NPP government, stressing, "We remain focused on delivering for the Ghanaian people and breaking the 8-year cycle."
