Health ASA Savings and Loans organise free health screening for residents of Kwabenya

ASA Savings and Loans Limited through its Business Centre at Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region has organised a free health screening.

The exercise has seen over 120 residents of Kwabenya including clients of ASA Savings and Loans benefiting massively.

During the exercise, beneficiaries were screened for various health issues such as malaria, blood pressure, blood sugar, and hepatitis B, among others.

The exercise carried out by Haven Health Services, lead doctor Dr. Solomon Ntaadu counselled the beneficiaries and urged the market women to regularly go for health checkups.

He also admonished the beneficiaries to make it a priority to eat well, exercise regularly and have enough rest.

Free medication was also given to every single person that participated in the free health screening exercise.

According to James Annan Marley who is the branch manager of the ASA Savings and Loans Kwabenya Business Center, the exercise forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

On his part, Area Manager Sani Samir indicated that through the exercise, ASA Savings and Loans hopes to forestall any unexpected diseases that will affect customers and their businesses.

The free health screening exercise at Kwabenya was held on Thursday, May 18.

It is a continuation of regular exercises held by ASA Savings and Loans in communities where the company operates.
