Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre picks number 7 slot in parliamentary race

Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre will be number seven (7) on the ballot paper in the upcoming parliamentary elections in the Zebilla constituency of the Upper East Region.

He was cleared at the vetting to contest the race slated for May 13.

Reps of the various candidates were made to pick a folded sheet with hidden numbers written on them. The exercise saw Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre picking the No.7 slot.

Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre, a son of the late Lawyer John Akparibo Ndebugre has supported the party in diverse ways.

He has facilitated for the construction of ten mechanised boreholes for some communities in the district. In 2021 and 2022 he donated over 10,000 mathematical sets and exercise books to schools, procured balls and jerseys for some selected schools, laptops and motorbikes presented to constituency executives to facilitate their activities, aprons and printed cloths for traders at Zebilla Barrier among others.

The party has cleared 7 parliamentary aspirants to contest in the upcoming primaries.

The incumbent MP Hon Lawyer Cletus Apul Avoka has indicated his decision not to contest again
