Assembly member for Adam Nana Electoral Area in the Awutu Senya East Constituency (ASEC) Mrs. Dina Tetteh says “This is the time” for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the constituency to change its orphan status.

Speaking after she filed her nomination to contest for the Parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NDC Tuesday 21, she said 2024 is a year to rescue Kasoa and Ghana from the hardships and non development under the NPP government.

Since the inception of the constituency in 2012, the NPP have retained tye seat in ASEC.

Mrs. Dina Tetteh, two-term assembly member appealed to delegates to vote for her in the parliamentary primaries come May 13, to bring glory to the NDC in the constituency come 2024 general elections.

According to her, the NDC needs a candidate that has been able to touch base with constituents and understands the needs of the people at the local level.

“I have served the people, I have worked in the assembly for two terms and I understand the grassroots, I understand the needs of this constituency and am coming to help bring the needed development that we need in the Awutu Senya East Constituency.”

She said as an assembly member, she worked with community members and the assembly to bring developments to her electoral area and the municipality at large.

She mentioned that if given the nod, she will prioritize the need of the aged, the youth, women and children.

“The NDC brought development to Kasoa even when it didn’t have a representation in Parliament. Kasoa needs change, the development of Kasoa must continue from where it ended and so we need to rescue Kasoa and the country.”

She urged party members that “with your support it is possible to make Kasoa and Ghana work again.”
