Hon Bernard Wintimah Azumah, a parliamentary aspirant of the National Democratic Congress NDC in the Zebilla Constituency of the Upper East Region says he is the man the Constituents want to retain the seat come 2024 general elections.

Hon Cletus Apul Avoka, current Member of Parliament of the constituency has decided to bow out of Parliament in 2024.

Hon Bernard Wintimah Azumah disclosed this after successfully filing his nomination form to contest the NDC parliamentary primaries in the Zebilla constituency.

His nomination forms were fully and vigorously inspected and accepted by the electoral committee of the party led by Hon Moses Abugre.

Hon Bernard Wintimah Azumah, addressing the mammoth crowd that has accompanied him from his house just to support him.

According to him, among all the contestants he stands tall in winning the Parliamentary elections due to his contributions to the party since 1992.

Bernard indicated that he has served the party as a constituency youth organizer. He noted that he was the only youth organizer in the whole region who had procured over one hundred and twenty (120) bicycles for youth organizers in the all branches of the Zebilla constituency.

Hon Bernard added that he has supported the party in all elections since 1992 to date by printing and providing T-shirts and casj among others for the party to win power.

He said if he is given the mandate to lead the party in the 2024 general elections, he would work tirelessly to unite the rank file of the party for 2024.

He called on delegates, branch executives, and party financiers to support him win the primaries.

Hon Bernard Wintimah however, pledged his support to any aspirant who wins the contest.
