Support Dr Kwabena Duffour for the NDC flag bearer's position

n the interest of Ghana and the majority of Ghanaians, l shall call on the NDC delegates with the right of exercise of vote to critically consider Dr Kwabena Duffour when they go to elect their party's flag bearer in May 2023, for general election 2024.

Do Ghanaians, and most especially, the NDC delegates, want a leader that can develop Ghana for the benefit of the majority of the citizens, if not all, or a leader that will care about just a handful of Ghanaians?

Former President John Dramani Mahama, until now the seeming NDC's most preferred flag bearer-cum-presidential candidate, believes in serving the interests of a few Ghanaians when given the nod to become the president in any future elections.

He is not interested in the collective welfare of Ghanaians but a few.

If it were not so, he wouldn't have sat noddingly in a meeting in the USA where then NDC National Chairman Samuel Ofosu Ampofo announced his infamous "No Contribution No Chop" (NCNC) policy.

Again, John Mahama is no match for Dr Kwabena Duffour in intelligence, far-sightedness and possession of nation-developing policies and programmes. This is an undeniable fact that only a fool will make any attempts to dispute it!

The once proud non-listening president who insulted Ghanaians to their face by classing them as having a short memory and would not listen to their advice, suggestions and pleas since they had never been president before, has still no respect for you.

A president who in the face of the hardships Ghanaians were battling with could not console them but worsened their plight by saying, in quote, "l suffer from a dead goat syndrome so l don't care whatever Ghanaians are saying. A dead goat does not feel the pains of the knife no matter how it is cut up"

He claims to have realised his mistakes and like the biblical prodigal son he is asking Ghanaians to reconsider him for a second coming to correct his mistakes.

I am afraid, once bitten, twice shy.
John Dramani Mahama is just a pure opportunist, a populist politician who only desires selfish wealth and power but not knowledge and does not care about the majority, if not all, Ghanaians.

In the face of the utter destruction of the country's water bodies, fertile and arable lands and forests by the Chinese and their Ghanaian accomplices through illegal surface and alluvial mining, thus, galamsey, former President John Dramani Mahama has for his parochial selfish interests and absurd quest for power been thwarting all efforts by President Nana Akufo-Addo to stop it.

Such a person is not good to serve the country in any official capacity, let alone, the president.

Dr Kwabena Duffour on the other hand has acquired more knowledge; is more far-sighted and understands the impact of the destruction of the country's water bodies etc. on both the present and future generations hence will not dare obstruct genuine steps taken to redress the situation let alone, encourage it.

Dr Kwabena Duffour is overflowing with policies and programmes to better the image of Ghana and the living conditions of the Ghanaian masses.

He will never seek to sabotage his political opponents if they were doing good things, unlike John Mahama. He will rather commend them but not condemn them.

The Western civilised countries have developed because both their ruling parties do agree on policies and programmes that are good for the country no matter which political party comes up with them.

However, in Ghana the political parties always disagree on policies because of want of power hence the country not developing but sucked up in debt.

John Mahama is fond of lying about his rival political parties and opponents just to pave way for him to come back to power.

Dr Kwabena Duffour as a knowledgeable personality but not a damn populist opportunist, will do better for Ghana than greedy parochial-minded John Dramani Mahama.

A person that supports perpetration of crimes is not worth his salt.

Was it not John Dramani Mahama that went on air to tell the nation that he had won presidential election 2020 but rigged for Nana Akufo-Addo by the Electoral Commission hence led NDC scumbags on street demonstrations?

When the case went to the Supreme Court, John Mahama and his cabal of opportunists exposed themselves as complete rogues with the situation made worse by the recent revelations by Johnson Asiedu Nketiah.

John Mahama knew he had lost the election, yet he resorted to deceitful means to make the Electoral Commission and President Nana Akufo-Addo look like criminals in the eyes of Ghanaians and the world.

A person of John Dramani Mahama's character should never be chosen when a credible candidate is available.

I want someone who will develop Ghana for all but not for a few supporting criminals as it is the intention of John Dramani Mahama.
