Annoh-Dompreh heaps praise on Ato Forson; describes him as one of the most patriotic NDC MPs

The Majority Chief Whip, Mr. Frank Annoh-Dompreh has bombarded Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson with a lot of commendations.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, February 21, the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Member of Parliament described Dr. Ato Forson as one of the most patriotic MPs representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Parliament.

“I have known the arrowhead Dr. Ato Forosn so well, and I pray what I am going to say people will not misconstrue it. Ato Forson has been one of the most patriotic members on the other side.

“I served on the Finance Committee before I had to give way to somebody, this is a man, probably because of his stint at the Finance Ministry he can appreciate well when it comes to revenue matters, when it comes to governance, I just want to appeal to our colleagues that for the sake of our country, we have no other country than this country,” Mr. Frank Annoh-Dompreh told journalists.

The praise however was followed with an appeal to the Minority Leader to tamper justice with mercy and ensure the Minority approves the new Ministerial nominees of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“This is their [new Minority leadership in parlianent] major decision since coming into leadership, this is the first time more or less they are going to make such a significant decision, that they should tamper justice with mercy.

“That is not the right expression to use in this context because I don’t see the relevance of this but I am just saying that they should just let go, support the nominees, let us pass them,” the Majority Chief Whip pleaded.
