Akuapem North constituency youth organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Comrade Ahmed Agbenyadzi said the party is determined to snatch the Akropong seat even if Sammi Awuku is made the parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He argued the incumbent MP, Nana Ama Dokuaa Asiamah and successive lawmakers have not done enough for the well-being of their constituents over the years.
"The seat has been a stronghold of the NPP over the years but I can tell you that it is no more. Just because the NPP MPs have failed their own people for too long. The NDC is now attractive to most constituents who are ready to join the NDC course in 2024," he told Nyarko Abronoma on Bryt FM.
The NDC Communicator emphasised this outfit's readiness to wrestle power for the NDC and called all members to contribute their quota to the course.
