Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Mampong, Francis Addai-Nimoh has formally announced his intention to run for the NPP’s flagbearer position.
He believes he has all the necessary traits to help the party establish an admirable record of three consecutive terms in office.
Mr. Addai-Nimoh has requested that the party’s leadership provide all delegates with an equitable opportunity to choose who would serve as their flagbearer in the general elections in 2024.
The former Mampong law maker said the NPP needs a new face to be the flagbearer when he began his campaign on Wednesday, February 1.
“I am the new face to win the 2023 flagbearer elections.
“A new face must have an unblemished character.
“A face that represents a genuine movement that provides hope to those members who may have been disgruntled.”
He said ”Even though I was sidelined I have remained loyal to our party’s core calls which I have been dedicated to since its inception. So whether appointed in public office or not the NPP is for all of us.”
