The President of the Anlo Traditional Council and acting Awoamefia, Regent Torgbui Sri III, has advised the people of Anlo to forge a united front to unearth the vast potential of the area.

He said it was a misplaced priority for the citizens to spend their limited resources on litigation and other negative tendencies that only ended up dividing the people, thereby, retarding the development of the country.

Torgbui Sri, who was addressing a durbar of chiefs and representatives of the clans at Anloga on Sunday, likened unity to a principle of design concerned with the arrangement of the elements of a dance to create coherence.

The Regent said many traditional areas in the country were exhibiting oneness of purpose, spirit, and style to champion, the growth of their people while “our people are engaged in efforts to mar, marginalize and malign the progress of our dedicated kin and kith.

“In a democratic dispensation as we have now, we all bound to have a divided opinion, but the rule of law must always be used to seek redress,” he said.
