The late Lawyer John Akparibo Ndebugre's son, Nelson Ndebugre has donated two brand new motorbikes and laptops to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Zebilla constituency of the Upper East Region.

He also pledged GHS1,000 every month for fuel to run the party's activities.

The donation is aimed at supporting the grassroots base of the party to reach every corner of the constituency to canvass for votes ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Presenting the items to the Constituency chairman Atiah Kudugu, he said he has decided to donate the motorbikes for the party to carry the message to the electorates in remote areas.

"As you all know Zebilla constituency is one of the largest and we need to be up and doing to be able to reach the electorates," Nelson Ndebugre stated.

Late last year, he donated over 1000 maths sets to 21 schools in the constituency.

For several years, he has been donating school items and organising football gala for the town and school teams in the constituency.

He has also drilled a number of boreholes in some deprived communities in the constituency.

The Constituency Chairman Atiah Kudugu thanked Nelson Ndebugre for the kind gesture.

He said the donation has come at the right time and promised to use them judiciously.
