Suspended Janet Nabla wanted to illegally represent us, we apologise tO NDC–PNC

The Peoples National Convention (PNC) has said every official who was present at the just-ended Delegates Conference of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) was given an accreditation card.

The party noted that its suspended General Secretary, Janet Nabla was without one.

This comes on the back of reports that the suspended General Secretary breached the laid down protocol during the NDC Delegates Conference and thus was sacked by the security at the programme.

The PNC in a statement issued on Monday, 19 December 2022, signed by its Acting General Secretary, Prince K.Agyemang Duah said: “It is rather unfortunate that such an incidence ensued.

“This incidence however could have been avoided.”

It noted that: “It is a known fact that Ms Nabla has been suspended as the General Secretary of the PNC. As such, she couldn’t have arrogated to herself the role to read a solidarity message on behalf of the PNC.”

It continued that it is “pained by the incidence given that it doesn’t only dent the image of Ms Nabla but also the party she illegally sought to represent.”

The party therefore apologised to the “NDC and the good people of Ghana for such an embarrassment.”
