Chief Executive Officer of Joy Industries, Dr. Manfred Takyi has complained bitterly about the refusal of some Ghanaian celebrities to advertise its products despite benefiting from the company.

The CEO narrated that Highlife legend Daddy Lumba took a huge undisclosed amount of money and a customised Tundra to perform shows and help sell the brand but the musician failed in delivering on his promise.

Dr. Manfred Takyi in a trending video with Akuapem Poloo revealed that Joy Industries as a corporate entity has organised many programs and paid enough money to celebrities who were then struggling to survive in the industry.

However, he indicated that none of the celebrities the company worked with has shared or advertised any of the company's products on their social media handles.

According to him, celebrities are now demanding for a contract before they can promote the company's products on their social media pages, a development he described as unfortunate.

"We have helped and paid sums of money to many celebrities with the shows we did with them. But unfortunately, none of them has displayed even a single product on their social media handles," he stressed.

The CEO angrily added "Many celebrities owe us as I speak right now. Daddy Lumba took our money and a customised Tundra to perform shows with the brand but the sad news is that he (Lumba) did not deliver even half of his duties and it is very bad."

Joy Industries has worked with many musicians across the country such as Sarkodie, Daddy Lumba, Kofi Nti, Dada K.D, Obrafour, Kwawkese, Article Wan, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and many other celebrities.

The latest of such programs organised by Joy Industries was the 2022 edition of the Suhum Odwira Festival where rap legend Obrafour, Eno Barony, Kwaw Kesse, Kwaku Flick and other musicians performed to entertain the people.

Joy Industries is the manufacturer of products such as Joy Dadi bitters, Joy Twedie ginger, Joy ointment, Joy soap, Vikil 20 (immune booster), Dadi natural mineral water, Hi Speed, One Tym and many others that have been recognised across the country and beyond.
