Prices of petroleum products at GOIL Filling Stations have dropped marginally from GH¢16.82 per liter to GH¢15.41 for Super XP Ron 95 (petrol) Diesel XP also dropped from GH¢20.50 per liter to GH¢18.86

Mr. Robert Kyere, Public Affairs Manager GOIL Company Limited the nation’s topmost indigenous Oil Marketing Company (OMC), and copied to the Communication for Development and Advocacy Consult (CDA Consult) in Tema on Friday said the changes took effect from December 1st, 2022.

At the last price review on November 15, GOIL reduced fuel prices at the pumps by 11.5 percent to lighten the economic hardship and appreciate the challenges of the consuming public.

According to the GOIL statement the decision to once again reduce the marginal marginally is to cushion consumers in the wake of the high prices of petroleum products on the international market.

GOIL statement stressed that as the leading OMC in the country, it would continue to focus on marketing quality petroleum and other energy products and services in a safe, ethical, healthy, environmentally friendly, and socially responsible manner.

GOIL commended the public who have exhibited high hopes and remained loyal to the GOIL brand.

The GOIL statement assured the public that the management and staff across the country will continue to prudent operational practices to remain competitive while pursuing a strategic measure as part of the broader procedures to ensure dominance in the downstream oil industry.

“GOIL will continue to strictly enforce a national policy of maintenance of high standards at the forecourt of its filling stations across the country,” the statement said.
