The Salvation Of Ghana - A Christmas Message.

The Salvation Of Ghana - A Christmas Message.
06.12.2005 LISTEN

Fellow Ghanaians, there is no doubt our country is politically and economically sick and needs urgent salvation. The only true salvation will come from a serious campaign and search for Sincere and Selfless and Devoted Leaders, for the Districts, Regional, MPs, Ministers of State, and finally the Presidency.

If Ghana can come out of its Political and socio- economic predicament, there must be the emergence of genuine politicians on the corridors of political power. There must be the emergence of a new political class, who has never been bought by cash influence, dedicated and selfless individuals prepared to sacrifice for the political and socio-economic development of Ghana.

The greediness in our political circles, with NDC and NPP accusing the other for the ills of the society, is not only unfortunate but very sad indeed. Revelations of Bribery and corruption by both parties, is no news to the people because we know it has been part of the system for too long to deny its existence as being portrayed by the President of Ghana. Unfortunately, those two strong parties are comfortable in their skins because, they think deep down that, there is no other alternative to them. Ghanaians will therefore vote for one of them anyway, regardless all the nonsense that goes on in and around both parties.

The situation is so precarious that,

1. Too many Ghanaians do not have anything to feed on.

2. Too many of our children are wandering aimlessly and hopelessly on the streets with no hope for a better tomorrow.

3. Too many of our people 47% as recently confessed by the Minister for Education, are illiterate and cannot read nor write.

4. Too many people have no good drinking water.

5. Almost everything in Ghana has gotten out of the control of Government.

6. Cost of Living, Food, Rent, Hospital, Clothing, Utilities School fees are astronomically high for the minimum wage earner to bear.

On Ghana web November 25th 2005, Mr. Kojo Smith the aspiring NPP general secretary said that the NPP owes 2 billion Cedis from unpaid service bills, Including Electricity and Water.

If this statement is correct, how does the government expect the minimum wage earner to be able to manage life out of Thirteen thousand Five Hundred Cedis (13,500) Cedis a whole day? Everything is too expensive in Ghana. Prices of good and services are either the same or higher than what the rich developed countries would pay.

Despite the glaring fact that the majority of the people are suffering, our political class display abundance wealth, and enjoy everything free at the expense of the very poor in the society but ironically the situation never touches the heart of a single soul in Government to voice out and condemn the greed and selfishness in the midst of the elite, and ask for at least, a living wage for the ordinary man at the bottom of the ladder who voted them to political power.

Fellow Ghanaians, my Christmas message and New Year resolution to you is, don't let us follow these old political vampires anymore. They have never intended to Save Ghana from the utter distress they themselves have plunged the nation into. They only scramble for political power, to grab all the wealth in the country as much as they can lay hands on and don't consider the rest of the population. WHEN WILL THE SALVATION OF GHANA BEGIN?

The Salvation of Ghana depends on all of us; the good people of mother Ghana, at home and abroad; and should begin from now. Let us rediscover ourselves and look for SELFLESS AND SINCERE Leaders for the Districts, Regional, and at the National Levels of Government. Let us double our search for Selfless and Sincere Leaders, identify them, campaign for them, and vote for them in 2008 despite their political inclinations. Don't let financial gains influence your votes Fellow Ghanaians. Those who steal the Nations money will attempt to influence your votes with your own money they have stolen over the years. Don't let us vote for such politicians; they have been very deceptive, selfish, greedy, inconsiderate, inhuman and unreliable.

VOTE FOR THOSE WHO WILL BRING YOU THE MESSAGE OF THE TRUTH AND THE MESSAGE OF HOPE. THOSE ARE THE KINDS OF POLITICIANS THE SAVE GHANA NOW ASSOCIATION IS SEARCHING TIRELESSLY FOR THE COUNTRY'S FORWARD MARCH. VISIT OUR WEB SITE.wwwsaveghana.org AND REGISTER TO JOIN OUR SEARCH TEAM, (THE CRUSADERS) ON THE THEME, THE MESSAGE OF THE TRUTH AND HOPE FOR THE SALVATION OF OUR MOTHERLAND; AND LET US ALL WITH ONE VOICE SING THE EVER POPULAR NEGRO SPRICTUAL (WE SHALL OVERCOME SOMEDAY.)

WISHING ALL GHANAIANS A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPROUS NEW YEAR. GOD BLESSES OUR HOME LAND AND OUR PEOPLE.
