Residents of Mankessim in the Central Region have become the latest to benefit from the free health screening exercises being organised by ASA Savings and Loans Limited.

The Savings and Loans Company since the start of the year has held a number of health screening exercises in various parts of the country where they operate.

On Tuesday, September 20, the Mankessim Business Center of ASA Savings and Loans organise similar health screening for clients.

During the exercise, not only clients but residents of Mankessim had the chance to also benefit from the free health screening.

There was free testing for Diabetes, Blood pressure, Haemoglobin, Malaria, HIV, and others.

The free health screening exercise was undertaken by the Anomabo Health Center.

Opening up on the free health screening exercise, Donne Eli who is the branch manager of the Mankessim Business Center for ASA Savings and Loans explained that the exercise is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSRs).

He said the company believes in giving back to clients and the communities where they operate.

“As a company, we believe in giving back to the society and one of the ways is to check the status of their health and correct any anomaly.

“For we know that a healthy people is a wealthy people. Our small way of showing support in the total well-being of our people,” Donne Eli shared.

Several of the beneficiaries when engaged expressed appreciation to ASA Savings and Loans for not only focusing on business but the health of its clients.

They stressed that the free health screening is going to help them a lot especially people who may not have the money to visit the hospital for regular checks.
