President Kufuor's Logical Illogicalities

President Kufuor said his government is to be credited for the historic qualification of the country's senior national team, the Black Stars.

OK, All Credit to You Mr. President!

Is Kufour also ready to accept blame for the numerous problems – health, education, economic hardship, unemployment - facing the country at the moment instead of pushing it on to his predecessors whilst he continues to claim credit for achievements like world cup qualification.

When Wofa “PerDiem” can't fix a problem he blames it on the 20 year rule of Rawlings/NDC, but when things go well he wants ALL he credit.

Wofa JAK, during the 20 years of NDC rule, Ghana won TWO U-17 world titles, 1 bronze medal at the Olympics and TWO U-20 silver medals. Most of the current crop of players are products of the NDC/Rawlings' success in developing youth soccer.

Secondly, Kufuor claims qualification shows his government is doing great. Cote d'Ivoire (CIV) - A divided country at war without a real government - also qualified Togo - A Country in Transition, and under a semi-dictatorship - also qualified Angola – A country recovering from a civil war – also qualified Does qualification prove these countries are doing great?

President John Agyekum Kufuor, we voted you to fix the economy and tackle corruption. World cup qualification is wonderful, but it does not put food on the table. We are proud we have made it to the world cup, but we would be prouder if we would stop the begging.

President Kufuor is indeed a very Funny Man.
