Home Sweet Home is a human right

Home Sweet Home is a human right
04.09.2022 LISTEN

The Jacobines of the 1789 French Revolution described human rights as fundamental and universal rights of man. Besides Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, etc. they forgot to include an ever-pressing human right to mention, the right to live in the country of birth.

Generations long gone decided to leave their homes behind for economic, political, social, and religious reasons besides venturing into unknown territories. Everyone leaving the old familiar family and identity behind knows deep down in the soul and heart that the old home still creates feelings, sentiments, and dreams of what once was living reality.

As much as in the past people were always on the move do we live in an age of more forced into migration movements, don't we? To live as a human identity is a much-needed spirit in us. Even when the whole world around us should get destroyed and shattered the certainty of our inner identity, of knowing who we are, the sense and meaning of our lives, and the wisdom of our journey gives us the needed strength to move on into a new future. Without it, we are subjects to the winds of change.

Without life humans are nothing. Without identity, humans are not useful to God and the world. Without, without is crying out for the right to be with something, the human right of home sweet home.

When humans have this right they can stand before a judge and the world leaders will have to answer and give evidence of their performance. Heaven on earth will not be created but more care taken.
