Hopeson Adorye, You Have A White Beard; Do You Want Your Eyelashes White, Before You Become Wise?

Feature Article Hopeson Adorye, You Have A White Beard; Do You Want Your Eyelashes White, Before You Become Wise?
AUG 17, 2022 LISTEN

Of all the tribes in Ghana, the Northerners and the Ewes are the ones who frequently endure stigma and prejudice that shouldn't have been required in any African nation, much less Ghana, a peaceful society that has been torn apart by tribalism. I respect every Ghanaian, regardless of where they come from, which is why I despise tribal bigots because I don't think they're smart.

Therefore, Hopeson Adorye should have had the intelligence to refrain from saying things that could lead to political upheaval and chaos because he is Ewe. Even though he had previously stated that "Northerners in the NPP are only fit for the running mate roles and not as the flag bearer," he later denied making that statement, repeating his previous lifestyle of lying.

Later, Hopeson Adorye acknowledged making the claim and apologized. Mr. Adorye ought to be in prison right now serving at least ten years if Ghana's government and judicial system weren't corrupt. I'm not sure why, even though most Ghanaians are unwilling to discuss the NPP government's misdeeds that have harmed the country, they go to church and mosque to pray for it to be a better place.

Hopeson Adorye should have been expelled from the party or sent to jail for the crime he committed by sneaking into Serwaa Broni's hotel room and looking for materials to hide the president's affair with her, but he got off the hook because he was dispatched by Akufo Addo.

The president wouldn't care if Adorye remained in the government because a corrupt government doesn't understand the meaning of shame. After all, the president sent him and other criminals to attack Serwaa Broni under threat of violence and steal her possessions to stop the revelation of his affair with the Ghanaian-Canadian nurse.

Sadly, the hardship that the woman went through compelled her to speak with Kevin Taylor, the host of Loud Silence TV, to provide the case to more than 100,000 listeners in the shortest amount of time. After slipping into Serwaa Broni's hotel room and attempting to steal items from it to protect the president, Hopeson Adorye is still able to act without consequence.

Adorye should not have been allowed to continue serving as a political party member in any decent nation. So who is going to call me a liar if I say that Nana Akufo Addo, the president, sent him to engage in such criminal activity? In addition to Adorye, who the president frequently uses, Ken Agyapong is another NPP official who carries out all of Akufo's dirty work. I don’t why Ghanaians were astonished when he declared he will carry on with Akufo Addo's legacy if he becomes president.

What admirable qualities have Akufo Addo demonstrated in his tenure as president to encourage others? Since Akufo Addo is dishonest and crooked, all NPP politicians have the same illness. So I'm not shocked that Adorye, at his ripe old age, has turned into a serial liar and a criminal in the NPP regime. He and others like him pose a threat to civilization.

In actuality, the NPP is a type of political party that has lost its credibility since it has been more closely associated with crime and corruption than any other government in Ghana's political history. No sane person is interested in the NPP, however; the decision to select the party's flag bearer to succeed the existing president is necessary since the organization should function as a party.

The NPP is the worst political party to have ever existed in Ghana from a moral standpoint and when it comes to the fight against corruption. The party has failed Ghanaians and destroyed the livelihood of the common Ghanaians after the implementation of the fraudulent E-Levy failed.

The NPP government should have tried to persuade the average Ghanaians that "we have disappointed you, therefore, this is our apology," but they will never do that because everyone knows that it's a party that never apologizes or accepts responsibility. One reason for this is that they place all the blame on Covid, the Russia-Ukraine War, or John Mahama, but not on the money they have stolen, including the Covid funds. Today, the majority of Ghanaians have lost confidence in the NPP government.

Hopeson Adorye should have learned from his prior mistakes as a lesson, to act wisely and prevent further harm to his reputation. However, he has once again shown that not all elders with white beards are knowledgeable. If the NPP in Ghana is going to survive as a party among other political parties, this man needs to be expelled from the party.

Before continuing, I must make it clear to my readers in Ghana and around the world that I am not afraid to talk negatively about Akufo Addo because I live in Belgium. I would have done the same if I were in Ghana. Anyone familiar with this author would know that he doesn't fear anyone. I have written against the US and Belgium governments more than the Ghanaian government. Why should you be afraid of someone who wants to kill you? If someone wants to kill you, it shows that person fears you.

Despite the vast corruption, the rise in crime, the collapse of the economy, the depreciation of the currency, and the enormous debt without accountability, everyone is quiet in Ghana but the president's opponents, including writers and critics, have become foes and targets, with death threats.

Despite the positive aspects of Mahama's administration and the improved economy that Ghanaians saw, the NPP, which was in opposition at the time, turned the former Ghanaian leader into a devil in the eyes of Ghanaians. However, during his administration, Mahama never used his authority to jail any journalists despite what the Ghanaian media and tribal bigots did to him.

Apart from the president, Nana Akufo Addo, the NPP is a very notorious party without a future due to the existence of individuals like Hopeson Adorye, Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, and Ken Ofori-Atta, Eugene Arhin, Paul Adom-Otchere, Kennedy Agyapong, John Boadu and many others that names didn't appear in this article.
