Honorable Joshua Makubu, the Oti Regional Minister rubbished calls to President Akufo-Addo to reshuffle his appointees to improve performance.
Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie, NPP Member of Parliament for Effiduase Asokore in the Ashanti region on 24th July said on Wontumi FM in Kumasi that since the calls are getting intense the President should heed to such calls and act on them.
However, the Oti Regional Minister Hon. Joshua Makubu in an interview with Nana Yaw Asiamah on Dream 97.1 FM in Worawora in the Oti region said the reshuffle is the prerogative of the President.
He noted that the President should be allowed the space and time to decide whether to reshuffle his appointees.
He believes the President is in control and on top of issues "so let us as Ghanaians not pressure the president with these calls. He will do it at the right time and when he is convinced so Ghanaians shouldn't be worried about it."
