The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ellembelle in the Western Region, Kwasi Bonzoh has publicly declared his total support for Sampson Ndoli alias "One Man" to be elected as Ellembelle NPP's Constituency Chairman to steer affairs of the party for the next four years.

Sampson Ndoli who is the current first vice chairman for Ellembelle NPP is therefore contesting as a constituency chairman.

Sampson Ndoli and a business tycoon in the Ellembelle District, Joseph Akpoh Adjei alias "BOIN" are competing with the incumbent Ellembelle NPP's Constituency Chairman, Samuel Akainyah alias Chairman Atito.

The Ellembelle NPP Constituency Executive Election which is in Sekondi High Court is expected to be withdrawn from the court within this week to pave way for the election to be conducted.

Speaking about the upcoming election on New Day FM and Nzema FM in Nzemaland, Kwasi Bonzoh, Ellembelle DCE who has been accused of supporting one side against the incumbent Chairman, confirmed that, "yes I support one of the aspiring chairmen".

"In this contest, I fully support Sampson Ndoli alias One Man who is the first vice Chairman to become Ellembelle NPP Constituency Chairman", he added.

He, therefore, explained that, "I am supporting Sampson Ndoli simple because, this Sampson Ndoli has been supporting me since 2016 trying hard for me to become Ellembelle MP, in 2019 that the Constituency Chairman brought one Akasi Horma Miezah to contest me in the Ellembelle NPP Parliamentary Primaries, this Sampson Ndoli stood behind me to win so if today he is contesting as Ellembelle NPP Constituency Chairman, I have to support him to also succeed, Sampson Ndoli is a loyal servant to me, he has served me faithfully".

He took the opportunity to debunk allegation making rounds that he has sent the constituency election to court.

"Let me put on record that I have sent the election to court, I'm not part of the applicants, those who sent the election to court are all NPP polling station executives from Asasetre and they are seeking justice so people should stop spoiling my name", he said.

Asking whether in 2024, he will contest the Ellembelle Parliamentary seat for the fourth time or not, he vehemently declared, "I will contest again for the fourth time and if I win the Ellembelle NPP Parliamentary Primaries. I have done a lot as a DCE of Ellembelle District and I deserve to become Ellembelle MP in 2024 and I need Constituency Executives that will support me to win".

On his part, Sampson Ndoli who also spoke on Nzema FM at Axim accused his incumbent Constituency Chairman, Samuel Akainyah of destroying the party.

"A time has come for Ellembelle NPP delegates to vote out Samuel Akainyah as Ellembelle NPP Constituency Chairman, in fact, Samuel Akainyah is destroying the party, in 2020 parliamentary elections, they campaigned against Kwasi Bonzoh as our Parliamentary Candidate and if we maintain him, we cannot win the Ellembelle Parliamentary seat in 2024 so the delegates should not make another mistake", he stated.

Sampson Ndoli predicted that he would win the upcoming election to become Ellembelle NPP Constituency Chairman to support any Parliamentary Candidate the party would elect in 2023 to become Ellembelle MP for the first time since 1992.

Meanwhile, a total of 30 candidates are battling for 10 executive positions in the Constituency and the positions are Chairman, 1st Vice Chairman, 2nd Vice Chairman, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Organiser, Youth Organiser, Treasurer, Women's Organiser, and Nasara Coordinator.

Eight hundred and twenty-three (823) delegates are expected to cast their ballots in the election.

The total delegates comprised 760 polling station executives, 36 electoral area coordinators, 17 Constituency Executives, 5 patrons and 5 Council of Elders.

The party goes to the upcoming crucial election with 152 polling stations which will be held at Karela United sports stadium at Aiyinasi in the Ellembelle District.
