A tipper truck loaded with sand with registration number GN 1915-21 has crushed into the Tema-Ashaiman toll both.
According to C/Supt. Emmanuel Asante who happens to be the Tema MTTD Commander, the tipper truck has damaged the toll booth but no death was recorded.
He added that it is only the driver and his mate who were involved in the accident
He noted that two have been admitted to the Tema General Hospital for treatment and are in stable condition.
He went ahead to advise drivers to exercise some patience when driving and also cautioned the hawkers to move a step back when selling in the street for their own good.
He further spoke against the removal of number plates of cars that are involved in accidents along major roads across the country.
