As the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) commences its regional elections on Friday, a Central Regional Chairman hopeful has reassured all delegates of his full and unflinching commitment to lead NPP Central Region to victory 2024.
According to Dr. Joseph Kobina Essibu, no amount of distractive and vile propaganda will change his focus and confidence reposed in him to win at the delegates' congress.
“If anyone tells you that I am boycotting these elections, tell the person in response that, he has already lost track of our landslide Victory awaiting us”, Dr. Joseph Kobina Essibu stated.
He has, however, called for calm ahead of the party’s election slated for Friday, 28th May 2022 in order to have a united front to help the party break the ‘8’ year jinx.
The NPP will from Friday, May 27th-May 29th, 2022 hold its Regional Executives’ elections across the 16 regions in the country to elect new leaders.
