The Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) has predicted that Odeneho Kwaku Appiah will defeat Bernard Antwi Boasiako in the New Patriotic Party’s Ashanti Regional chairmanship race.

The incumbent, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi is facing strong opposition from four other candidates in the elections set to be held this Friday.

After some work in the Ashanti Region in the last three months, ASEPA says defeat awaits Chairman Wontumi at the end of the polls.

“With a margin of error of about +or -(2.7%) Odeneho Kwaku Appiah is expected to lead in the Chairmanship race by a slight margin against incumbent Wontumi,” part of the projection by ASEPA reads.

Who wins NPP Ashanti Regional Chairmanship race?

According to ASEPA, the election is going to be a tight race, and the eventual winner is not expected to win by more than 5% against the Runner-up.

ASEPA notes that Chairman Wontumi is expected to spend more than Odeneho Kwaku Appiah if he wants to win the election.

For Odeneho who is affectionately called COKA, ASEPA believes he only needs to be more tactical and effective on election day backed by strong security on his side to secure the winning verdict.
