The ASA Savings and Loans Limited’s Business Centre in Dansoman in the Greater Accra Region has organised a free medical health screening for customers and members of the community.
The free medical health screening exercise was held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.
According to the Branch Manager for Dansoman Business Center Mr. George Ampomah Ntim, the exercise is part of the financial institution’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The free medical health screening exercise covered Hepatitis B tests, Malaria tests, sugar tests, BMI, and Blood pressure checks.
Under the supervision of Area manager Mrs. Celestina Ayivor, over 120 customers were screened and given medicine based on their health status.
Those with severe illness were advised to visit the major hospitals to seek proper medical attention and if possible early.
The exercise at Dansoman is one of two undertaken by ASA Savings and Loans in the month of May alone.
Simultaneously while the exercise was ongoing in Dansoman, one was also held by the Mallam Business Centre.
In addition to the two exercises, various donations and other health screening exercises have been undertaken as parts of the institution’s corporate social responsibility.
