Bring It On To Ghanaians, Nana Akufo Addo, If You Think Serwaa Broni Is A Liar

For some time now, a love affair case between a Ghanaian-Canadian citizen known as Serwaa Broni on social media and the Ghanaian president, Nana Akufo Addo, has been a controversial matter on the lips of thousands of Ghanaians. Many believe it’s true, while others think the Canadian citizen just wants to blackmail and ruin the reputation of the president.

In Ghana, when it comes to scandals against Akufo Addo, only a few media outlets or no media cover such news because they want to protect the image of the president, either due to tribalism or because they are simply afraid to do so. However, if it’s about John Mahama, we see the rise of anti-Mahama forces against him.

After listening to the interview of Serwaa Broni with Kevin Taylor, any person who will still call this woman a liar, needs a psychiatric treatment because it is likely that the person has psychological problems

I first wrote about Serwaa Broni on February 21, 2022. In an article captioned "Don’t Be Deceived By Anyone Who Claims They Will Let Twene Jonas, Serwaa Broni, And Ohene David Be Deported," I indicated that no one can get that woman deported from Canada after a threat was made to her life by someone. I wouldn’t like to mention his name or give him fame in my article because he doesn’t deserve it.

In this same article, I also said that it may be likely that Serwaa Broni is not speaking the truth and, therefore, hasn't had an affair with the president, but the way the problem has been handled has led to its spread on social media like a bush fire.

I also demanded an answer: why would some NPP politicians try to solve this problem by intercepting Serwaa Broni with others in a vehicle at gunpoint to seize her things, including mobile phones? What pieces of evidence are they attempting to destroy? The evidence of what transpired at the Police boss's office had also been played on-air by Kevin Taylor.

My second article about Serwaa Broni, titled "Calling Serwaa Broni A Lunatic, Threatening Her Family, Not The Best Approach In Defending Akufo Addo," was published on March 28, 2022, after one of the president's security personnel, who claimed to control Ghana, came to threaten Serwaa Broni's family's life.

Those people trying everything possible to threaten the lives of Serwaa Broni and her family think that is the best strategy to prevent the interview from coming on. I did mention that the people who think they are doing a great job for the president are actually doing him more harm.

As I explained, Kevin Taylor has announced there will be an interview between Serwaa Broni and him, but who knows, due to the president’s position, she will try not to bring out anything that can hurt or incriminate the president, but because of the constant harassment of Serwa Broni and the threat to her life and family, she may be forced to let the cat out of the bag.

If Akufo Addo loves God and reads his bible, he will come across the scriptures which say, "a man’s enemies will be the members of his household." This is what I want the president to understand, but he doesn’t seem to get it. Those fighting and defending him by threatening the life of Serwaa Broni, calling her a liar, are responsible for the interview, which registered over 100,000 listeners.

Anyone who listened to the interview of Kevin Taylor and Serwaa Broni and still calls that woman a liar should have to undergo a psychology test and find out if his or her brain is working or not functioning. One can never lie by giving dates and even mentioning the name of Akufo Addo’s daughter.

She said everything that Akufo Addo’s wife, Rebecca, was even familiar with and mentioned the names of people who were with the presidential entourage that took her traveling bag to the bedroom of Akufo Addo. If Serwa Broni is telling lies, where are the people who will prove her wrong?

Everything Serwaa Broni said about what transpired between her and Akufo Addo is nothing but the truth, and if care is not taken for Akufo Addo to warn his security about threatening the life of Serwaa Broni to calm her down, she will be forced to take a certain turn, which will be more damaging to the president.

I warned, but nobody listened to me. The Canadian woman was provoked by the lies of those doing the dirty work for the president, but being a Canadian citizen or having dual nationality, her case will be of more interest to the world than that of a mere Ghanaian. She knows it. That’s why, despite the threat, she still gave the interview.

The case is not yet finished because shortly after the interview, a Ghanaian residing in America doing all the dirty work for Akufo Addo made another video calling Serwa Broni’s interview a fabricated story against Akufo Addo. Very soon, this woman will be compelled to prove the truth by going under a lie-detector test, and she will pass, putting the president in a real mess.

Akufo Addo might be a different person with a good heart, but from the time of becoming president, to hold on to power, he has been associated with really bad people who have caused the downfall of the president, but the truth is, what we have seen so far is the tip of the iceberg.

When the former American president, Bill Clinton, swore that he had never had an affair with a White House staffer, Monica Lewinski, nobody forced him to speak the truth. He later apologized to the Americans and asked for forgiveness because he had entered into a relationship with her.

In Nana Akufo Addo's government, nobody takes responsibility; therefore, an apology is something the president will never do. However, I have very good advice for him. It’s Akufo Addo's fault for inviting Serwaa Broni onto his flight. Therefore, he should blame himself and do the right thing.

The president should stop his security and those doing his dirty work for him against Serwaa Broni immediately to avoid bringing out more serious evidence that could probably be worse than what we have seen so far because this is a case, the president, Nana Akufo Addo will never win despite his intimidation and power as a president.
