NPP, Secrete Lovers Of Coups

Kufuor's NPP - So so lies lies and hypocrisy indeed!!

This is a clarion call on all Ghanaians and friends of Ghana to witness yet another shame and the much talked about hypocrisy of president Kuffour and his government .

After making Fathia Nkrumah a widow for the rest of her life, following their bomb throwing assassination attempt on Nkrumah that left in its wake a cancer on Nkrumah and his eventual overthrow,

(Remember that the UP/NPP were the first to topple a democratically elected government (CPP) in the country with the help of the CIA) This has been confirmed by the then CIA case officer for Ghana JOHN STOCKWELL in his book "In search for enemies”.), they are now soothing her wounds by providing her with accommodation.

I thought the minister who visited Fathia at her residence in Egypt would apologize to the widow, her children and Ghanaians in general.

One would have thought president kuffour and his government would bury their head in shame after stopping short of an apology to the first family. But as the proverb says "yefun bone enim se WA sa"(a troublesome stomach does not mind it is on medication). Within weeks the confused party is in the news again. -

A high-powered delegation led by the Vice president Mr.Aliu is in the Gambia to attend the tenth anniversary of the revolution that brought president Yahya Jammeh to power!

The June 4th revolution is to Ghana as the July 22nd revolution is to the Gambia. Both events came through the overthrowing of elected governments

Now, if the celebration of June 4th in Ghana is evil and has been banned by Kuffour and his government, what moral right has the government got to attend a similar 'evil' in the Gambia?

What type of moral upbringing is the government inculcating into Ghanaian children? . Whilst June 4th, if allowed to be celebrated, would be done with private resources of the sympathizers of the event. May Ghanaians know :

1) Who paid for their traveling cost to attend that "evil" celebration in the Gambia?

2) How much was paid as per Diem allowance? (Since their boss (the president) himself has increase his per diem from $500(the amount received by Rawlings) to $3,000) and by who?

3) Are the delegate going to receive their full salaries at the end of the month for wasting about three days attending an “evil” event?

The other day the President attended a similar "evil" event in Togo and when surprised Ghanaians questioned him, his officials said his visit and the occasion just coincided. What a belittling of intelligence of Ghanaians!

A careful subjection of this issue under the telescope reveals that UP/NPP is a secret admirer of coups. After all they showed Ghanaians how to do it. They didn't stop there, people like JH Mensah, Victor Owusu, Kwame Pianim etc who identify with UP/NPP have in the past been found to be behind coup plots. But as the Ghanaian adage has it "Atwetwa mmen biara suro ayanda"(the culprit is always with the fears that someone would revisit the same evil on him)

To this end, the name Rawlings is a thorn in their flesh. June 4th and its ideas is a horrific nightmare to them, PNDC/NDC to them, is an irritant and so they are doing everything to eradicate everything associated with Rawlings from the minds of Ghanaians but that is a failure as long as we know them to be Hypocrites, liars and secrete lovers of coups.
