The Divisional Police Command in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region have arrested two suspected narcotic peddlers at Aflao.

The suspects Anani Sasu, age 19 and Kpelly Kwame, age 29, believed to be Togolese nationals were apprehended on Thursday January 20, 2022 at Apedido a suburb of Aflao.

Inspector Prince Dogbatse of the public Affairs Unit of Volta Regional Police command disclosed that, the suspects were arrested in an uncompleted building with a quantity of seeds and leaves believed to be narcotics.

He said the police made the arrest following tip offs and complaints of several youths engaging in narcotics peddling.
