Hon Musah Superior; General Secretary hopeful for NPP has strongly critiqued the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) for failure to hold the Polling Station (PS) elections per the timetable announced in April last year.

According to the earlier official announcement, PS elections is to be held in January 2022, but as things stand now, no sign or update has been given party officials as to whether or not the earlier announced timetable for the elections will come off as planned.

Musah Superior who is the former Mayor of Tamale and now the Deputy CEO of the Ghana Forestry Commission in an official statement reprimanded the party’s steering committee, pointing out administrative flaw as an abuse of mandate.

Premised on the foregoing, he stated that the NPP has become functionally and administratively inept.

A copy of his statement copied to Modernghana News reads; “Why are we (members of the NPP) still not formally informed whether or not the earlier announced timetable for the polling station elections scheduled for this month will come off?

"It is hugely disappointing that our great NPP has become functionally and administratively inept. The silence on this important basic unit-level elections of our party is totally unacceptable. It is an abuse of mandate.

"The PEOPLE’S CAMPAIGN is calling on the Steering Committee to respect the masses by updating us on issues previously communicated to us publicly.

"It is important to note that the processes leading to all our internal elections are transparent and trustworthy.”
