Poultry farmers praising gov't is a remarkable achievement – Nana Obiri Boahen

The National Deputy Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has said, the praises from the Greater Accra poultry farmers is a big achievement for the Akufo-Addo's government.

Nana Obiri Boahen who was speaking to this reporter on governanment expectations for the year 2022, said: “We expect things to improve. If you hear that Ghana is the most peaceful country in the whole of West Africa. Ghana ranked 2nd in the Sub-region is good news.”

He noted that having poultry farmers from Greater Accra writing to praise the government is a remarkable achievement that suggests that President Akufo-Addo is doing it right.

“When you have the poultry farmers in Greater Accra writing to praise the government that is also a big achievement but everybody wants to move ahead. Some days ago, the Minister for Roads came out to let us know about the interchange and roads his ministry is constructing. We have been told that the Tamale interchange will be inaugurated in March 2022 and I understand the Accra inland port will come into fruition. So, these are all matters to push this country forward," he stated.

Meanwhile, he expressed confidence that the country will see improvement in the year 2022.
