2nd Malaysia 24 Hour Walk

In response to the organising committee of the 2nd Malaysian 24 hour walk invitation , that requires the sending of an athelete to compete in the aforementioned competition,the visco walking club is organising a final selection walk on Friday 12th July, 2003.

This would see both Ghanaian and Nigerian walkers in contention for the ultimate crown. Those who are representing Nigeria include Egbebjile Luckshine, Adebayo Bada, Elizabeth Raymond and Peace Ikeregbe.

According to Mr. Elorm Togo and Mr. Peter Amoah (the executive members of the club), the registered names in Ghana so far numbers forty three (43) from all the regions. they include the likes of Jeremiah Damptey,Abraham Kumi,Vincent Asumang,Adjei Boateng,Attah Bright,and Thomas Quaicoe the distance to be covered would be from cape coast to Accra (144 km).

The good news is that registration still in progress online- 02081676 23 or E-Mail [email protected] for 20,000 .and the winner of this competition automatically qualifies with a free ticket to participate in the 2nd 24 hour Malaysia walk on the 4ht of August 2003 the walk is being sponsored by SCOO Ghana Limited (Energizer), Voltic Mineral Water,Parleys Biscuit, Cowbell etc.

It could be recalled that last year's maiden edition was won be Gregor Adam Urbanowski of Holland.
