Humble advice from an old fool to the brightest and best individuals amongst Ghana's aspirational younger generations

Dear young fellow Ghanaians,

For your own good, do religiously follow the very sound advice, given to you, recently, by Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta, our homeland Ghana's current finance minister, and plan/prepare assiduously, to become entrepreneurs, targeting profitable niches in our nascent green economy, if you aren't already one (while simultaneously advocating vociferously, for the preservation of Ghana's remaining natural capital - since it unquestionably underpins your quality of life because healthy forests are the watershed for the rivers that are sourced for treatment and distributed to consumers nationwide, and also provide the pure fresh oxygen-laden air that boosts your immune system).

Since you are the majority demographic, by far in Ghana, use that latent-power to demand that the nation's annual US $200 million gold royalties, are used exclusively to fund the most creative business ideas, by young Ghanaians, which are presented to a selected group of the most reputable and successful business leaders, in Ghana, who will manage the cash from our annual gold royalties - instead of that valuable amount, going to a dodgy offshore blank cheque SPAC, whose sly and arrogant promoters, incredibly, want Parliament to indemnify them from prosecution if they neglect their fiduciary duty to manage the funds in the nation's best interests, and if they engage in fraud. Imagine that.

You aren't fools - so don't accept that pure-nonsense-on-bamboo-stilts, ever: not when if one of your own, Mr. Nelson Boateng, for example, given just US $10 million, with a three year grace period to start repaying the interest free loan, could, with his partners, create well-planned climate-resilient green gated-communities (of affordable rentals only), plastic homes, nationwide, to replace all Ghana's slums and enable us meet all the UN SDGs. Haaba.

Above all, dump your affiliations to the NPP/NDC duopoly - which have now evolved into criminal organisations, in all but name, because of the ever-growing need for off-ledger-cash to fund their operations. Focus on making serious money and become super-rich: before the corrupt big-thieves-in-high-places who are milking Mother Ghana dry finally kill her off, ooooo. Yooooooo ...
