An unconfirmed report reveals a driver in traffic, decides to maneuver his way through and collided headlong with a petrol tanker and the impact created a hole with petrol spilling all over the area.

After the incident, many people came along with various containers taking the petrol pouring out from the tank. According to sources, the crowd made the hole larger for the petrol to come out with full force.

It was during that period the tank exploded because the whole area is spilled with petrol. Some people believe that the spilled petrol ignited the tank to explode after someone throws away a cigarette. The incident happened yesterday night at about 21.00 pm.

The powerful explosion claimed lives and those fortunate to survive had their skins peel off from the body. This news shall be updated when information is at hand from Freetown, Sierra Leone.

According to the latest news, the explosion which occurred at Bai Bureh Road, Wellington, Freetown, 92 were injured, with 48 on admission at the Connaught Hospital, 6 at Choithrams Hospital, 20 at 34 Military Hospital, and 18 at Emergency Hospital.

94 confirmed dead at Connaught Mortuary, potentially, 4 corpses are still at the scene of the explosion.
