Update on my shipment to Lagos!

Update on my shipment to Lagos!
31.10.2021 LISTEN

Yesterday, I related my experience in sending a parcel to from Accra to Lagos.

I am happy to report that about 14hours after I handed the parcel to the driver in Tudu, Accra, it was delivered to the recipient at Mile 2 in Lagos.

This experience deepens my love for and deep appreciation of the “Ordinary” and “uneducated” Africans who refused to succumb to the general malaise which afflicts most of the “educated” Africans.

It also convinced me how totally disconnected our so-called leaders are from, not only from our daily grinds, but also from reality.

Both Buhari and Akuffo-Addo sit comfortably in their palatial palaces, where posse of fawning sycophants and court-jesters screened them from the realities of their citizens lives. From their thrones, they issue edicts and pronouncement that are not only utterly stupid and bereft of the most elementary of logic, but are easily unachievable.

The result is the creation of more and more layers of useless bureaucracy and the promotion of corruption to the abysmal levels. Only officers of the Customs and the Immigration benefit from these sad state of affairs.

Apart from Africans, I know of no other specie of humanity who take great pride in miseducating itself to the point of self-loathing. The result is a society where people care very little about self-improvement and nothing about the good of the society. We are all living witnesses to where this mindset has led us.

The fantastically corrupt reprobates misruling us care little for our welfare. It is of no interest to them whether we perish or simply disappear.

How can African leaders locked their people up in the economically-unviable colonial garrisons they euphemistically call countries?

If only these leaders will take days off, dispense with the high-protocols with which they surround themselves and pay unannounced and unheralded visits to those they purport to govern, they will begin to have ideas and inklings on how ordinary Africans continue to strife against all odds to eke out miserable existence in this age and time. These leaders will also realize that the last thing these ordinary citizens want is for their presidents to add to their already heavy burdens.

Ironically, the headquarters of ECOWAS is in Abuja, Nigeria, while the Government of Ghana fought tenaciously to become the host of AfCTA! Sadly, both countries are at the forefront of initiating and implementing the most egregious anti-African policies on the continent!

PS: And what exactly informed Buhari’s closure of only the Nigeria’s borders in the Southern part of the country? I gathered that the borders in Northern Nigeria remain open!
