As a social democratic party, the NDC has many achievements in the Sissala East Constituency from 2009 to 2016 in all sectors of the economy such as health, Agriculture, Education etc. The NPP can never compare itself to the NDC in terms of infrastructure. The good people of Sissala East will remember this massive infrastructure record of the NDC and vote massively for the Nation Builder, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and Hon Mohammed Issah Bataglia to rescue Ghana from Mr Akofu-Addo Bawumia Family and Friends government.
HEALTH SECTOR
The achievements of NDC in the health sector from 2009 to 2016 are many as far as Sissala East is concerned. Some of these include;
1. Expansion of Kulfuo, Kunchogu, Wellembelle and Tumu health Centre
2. Expansion of Wellembelle health Centre to a polyclinic status
3. Construction of Health insurance office, Tumu.
4. Expansion of OPD in Tumu District Hospital
5. Construction of children’s ward at Tumu District Hospital
6. Rehabilitation of the main Doctor’s bungalow in Tumu.
7. Construction of a new Doctor’s bungalow in Tumu
8. A teacher’s quarters at midwifery training college.

Under agriculture, the NDC government has the following achievements

3. Provision of motor bikes for Agric department
4. Construction of dugouts
5. Fertilizer subsidy for all brands of fertilizers
6. Provision of Five government subsidize tractors to farmers
7. Rice support projects in Nabulo, Bujan, Nanchala and Wallembele
EDUCATION
Ghana Education Service (GES) received monumental investment from the NDC government such as infrastructure, provision of free uniforms, classroom furniture, free exercise books, sandals and text books. Some of the major Educational infrastructure includes the following;
1. A dining hall at Kansec
2. A science laboratory at Kanton SHS
3. A nine- unit classroom at Kanton SHS
4. One uncompleted E-Block at Wallembelle
5. A dining hall at Tumu SHTS
6. An administrative block at Tumu SHTS
7. A nine-unit classroom block at Tumu SHTS
8. A three-unit classroom block at Kuroboi
9. A three-unit classroom block at vamboi
10. Two teachers’ quarters at Bandei and Bichemboi respectively
11. Establishment of a KG at Stadium Residential Area Tumu
12. A three-classroom block at Nanpkawie
13. A six-unit classroom block at Wallembelle
14. Six-unit classroom block at Vamboi
15. A Teachers quarters at Vamboi
16. Six-unit classroom block and a teacher’s quarters at Sentie

24. Establishment of Tumu Midwifery College

SUSTAINABLE RURAL WATER AND SANITATION
Under sustainable rural water and sanitation, the NDC government has the following achievements
1. Construction of Over 100 bore holes constructed
2. A Small-town water system at Wallembelle
3. Household Community toilets
4. Construction of an ultra-modern toilet facility at Tumu lorry station
5. Mechanize bore holes at Tumu Kanton SHS, Tumu SHTS, Tumu Midwifery Training College and Tumu College of Education
6. Construction of a befitting abattoir in Tumu
ENERGY
Under energy, the NDC government has done very well in this sector especially in the area of rural electrification projects, the following are some of achievements:
1. Electricity was extended to more than 40 communities in the constituency under the rural electrification project
2. Free gas cylinders were distributed to some people as an intervention to reduce harvesting trees for charcoal and firewood
3. Frequent supply and replacement of street lights in the district capital and some other communities in the constituency.
SECURITY
Under security, the NDC government can talk of the following achievements;
1. Construction of two police stations at Walembelle and Bugubelle
2. Construction of divisional police post in Tumu
3. Provision of motor bikes to the Tumu Police
Provision of two pick- ups including a patrol car
4. Astronomical increase in security personnel
ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE
The NDC government can boasts of the following achievements under road infrastructure in the Sissala East Constituency
1. Creation of Nmandouanu to Nabugubelle
2. Nabugubelle - Sumboro feeder roard
3. Nabugubelle - Challu feeder road
4. Sakalu- Santie- Jijen feeder road
5. Nabulo - Duu feeder road
6. Taring of Tumu Town Roads
7. Creation of new roads in Tumu
8. Construction of Waalifuo Bridge
9. Construction of Chinchang bridge
10. Construction Bujan road bridges
11. Work was ongoing on the Bolga road
12. Work was fast going on the Tumu Wallembele road
13. Construction of Tumu Jeffisi Road etc
CONCLUSION
As the luckiest and most resourced President in the history of ghana with access to an unprecedented amount of GH₵370 billion within four and half years in office, Mr Akofu-Addo and his boys have nothing significant to show in terms of infrastructure in Sissala East Municipality as compared to the NDC.
