Hon. Ramadan storm flooded Communities to sympathize with victims and inform them about his plans.

The heavy downpour which occurred on Sunday, 09 October 2021 in the Greater Accra region has caused immense difficulties to a lot of families especially families in flood-prone areas.

Families in New Adenta and Manhee electoral areas in the Adentan constituency were not spared either. These families, some of which has rain flooding their compounds, rooms, their surroundings, etc were met with unbearable suffering this Sunday.

He was being accompanied by Hon. Timothy Abolga the assembly member of the New Adenta Electoral area.

As part of a working visit and a tour to sympathize with these families, the tireless member of parliament for the area, Hon. Ramadan Mohammed visited the constituents to console them — as a matter of fact, he visited on a rainy day to have a first hand witness account and share in the pain of the people he dearly represents.

As part of the MP’s tour around the New Adenta electoral area in the rain, he shared with the constituents his plans to eradicate flood in the constituency which includes the construction of bigger drains, gutters and proper road networks. He berated government's inabilities to live to their promises of year of roads and construction.

Also, as part of his visit, he shared some flood preparedness advice with the constituents. Some of which are ;

1.Discourage construction in flood hazard areas

2.Watch water flow during rainfall, especially on hard surfaces

3.Have an emergency plan that outlines procedures for every department and agency during a flood, etc

The Member of Parliament for the area, Mr Ramadan also shared some relief items with the victims and encourage them to call on him at any time of difficulty.
