Train your embarrassing boys on basic English language like morphology and syntax — NPP's Alhaji Nabco tells Savannah Region NDC
05.10.2021 LISTEN

Special Aid to the Savannah Regional Chairman for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and a member of the party's regional communication team, Kantama Sabura aka Alhaji Nabco has thrown a shade at the NDC communication team in the Savannah Region asking it to include basic English language as a course to advance the proficiency of their party's communication team in the region.

Alhaji Nabco's said this is in response to an audio which is being circulated on social media by some NDC activists in the region where the General Secretary of the NPP, Mr. John Boadu allegedly described his own party communication team in the Savannah Region as "weak and non-performing" during their regional delegates conference at Daboya in the North Gonja District.

According to Alhaji Nabco, he is baffled over the propaganda being churned out by the NDC social media commentators in an attempt to please their "paymasters" by wheeling into motion what they leant from their workshop dubbed "communication and training retreat" held in Tamale at Golden Dream hotel last week which purportedly cost the party Gh¢ 50,000.

He said the NDC in the region are either playing mischief with the comments of the General Secretary of the NPP or the grammar spoken by him is what they are struggling to comprehend.

He added that the purported audio in circulation where Mr. John Boadu is heard addressing the gathering was in basic English language and not Swahili.

He therefore advised the NDC to seek the services of a resource person who is well knowledgeable in the English language to take their communicators through morphology and syntax to save themselves from public embarrassment.

Alhaji Nabco as he is affectionately known noted that unlike the NDC social media commentators, the English language spoken by Mr. John Boadu is well understood by the rank and file of the NPP who will not allow their propaganda to pass.

Background

Mr. John Boadu in reaction to the NDC's solidarity message delivered by their Savannah Regional deputy communication officer Mr. R. A. Jalil during the NPP's regional annual delegates conference on October 1st, 2021, at Daboya in the North Gonja District of the Savannah Region, intimated that the NPP will soon embark on regional and constituency tours to audit the capacities of its communicators.

This according to Mr. John Boadu forms part of the party's determination to breaking the eight year electoral cycle.

He stressed that it has become prudent because he believes the NPP government has churned out good policies and programmes which needs a strong communication wing to propagate the achievements of the government and to also truncate the NDC's lies and misinformation.
