The District Chief Executive (DCE) nominee for Adansi North in the Ashanti Region, Eric Kwaku Kusi has expressed gratitude to President Akufo-Addo for keeping faith in him.
The affable DCE was named in the list of MMDCEs announced by the Minister in charge of Local Government, Dan Botwe last Sunday. If his appointment is confirmed, he will continue to serve in the Akufo-Addo government having served in the first term.
According to Eric Kwaku Kusi, his reappointment would urge him to work very hard to build a prosperous and progressive district.
He told journalists “Just as I have been doing since my appointment, I give you my word that I will work very hard to build a prosperous and progressive District for which we yearn.
“I assure you fellow constituents that I would do my best not to let you down."
The DCE nominee further called on the people to continue to rally behind him to initiate and implement programmes and projects which would help speed up the development process in the area.
He also called on the assembly members to throw their unflinching support behind him and overwhelmingly endorse him to continue with the good works to promote the socio-economic transformation of the area.
