REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11
It was 8:50 a.m. September 11, 2001. We heard that an Aircraft had accidentally hit the northern tower (of the twin towers) 5 minutes earlier.

The television monitors at the medical clinic, showed the tail part of the said aircraft hang outside the upper half of that tower, and in flames.

A little over an hour later, we heard a second aircraft had hit the second tower. We immediately knew this was no accident; A terrorist Attack.

Anger filled our hearts and Anger ran through our bodies.

Who caused this? Eventually, then 44-year-old, Engineer, from Saudi Arabia, Osama Bin Laden was found to be the brain behind the attacks.

The American flag was in high demand. People stood in long lines for hours to purchase the U.S Flag.

When the dust cleared, 2979 lives were lost, a third of the bodies not identified.

Sophia Addo and Emmanuel Afoakwa were some of the several Ghanaian-Americans who lost their lives that day.

Osama bin Laden was traced to Abbottabad, Pakistan and killed 10 years later, on the May 2nd 2011.

18 years after September 11 2001, over 2000 persons, who worked at/close to the vicinity after the attack, have died from the September 11 2001 related illnesses including lung diseases and Cancers.

When Human Beings progress in knowledge and Wisdom; When Human Beings show love and Respect to one another, and When Human Beings start to have Feelings for other Humans (and indeed, for all creatures) World Peace Shall Prevail.

True Peace, as well as True Love and Freedom should prevail on Earth and among all human beings regardless of skin color, Race and Faith, without Hate, Revenge, Jealousy, Craving for Retaliation, Privation, Murder, Homicide, Terror and Wars.
